Nobody has any idea how some people could uproot and forsake their animals. This family left the Animal Rescue League of Iowa with their dog, Shey, after moving away.

Despite being nearly toothless, mostly blind, and deaf, the 14-year-old tiny poodle patiently awaited adoption for the following four months.

Tristan, a young boy, was unconcerned by all of that. He asked for a cuddly pet when the small child arrived at the shelter. The shelter worker, who is quite friendly, introduced him to Shey.

Tristan was also made aware of the fact that the dog's illness necessitates specific attention. Tristan realized he could take care of Shey, therefore he made the choice to adopt him.
