The 16-year-old's fur was rough and had gray patches, making him less agile and active than the other dogs in the shelter.

Zack was very moved by the idea that the dog might spend his last years in this way and could not bear the thought. He instantly promised to be Henry's adoptive father in March 2021. He wanted Henry to meet new people and treasure new experiences.

Because of his inherent vigor and cheer, Henry had little issue finding a home despite his advanced age. His new mother adores him and looks after him all the time; she even updates her Instagram account with photos of their excursions.

Henry can still stroll around and enjoy the sunshine. She enjoys being outside and is aware of her large online following and supportive family.
