Jorge, Giorgi Berejiani's dog, vanished three years ago from his Georgian home in Tbilisi. For his best friend, he searched everywhere. And he never lost hope as the days grew into months and even years.

He would succeed in his endeavors, nevertheless. Workers at a nearby company saw a stray that matched Jorge's description and immediately contacted Giorgi just in case. Although the dog was marked as a stray by the city, they were very certain it was the same animal.

Giorgi hurried to the area to investigate and walked up to the dog that was sleeping beside the tree. You can hear a man addressing a dog in the video down below. Afterwards, the dog starts to cry with happiness, and Giorgi instantly realized it was truly him.
Eventually, they were reunited three years later. Both of them were visibly emotional as they reconnected, and you could tell that they were both delighted.

Giorgi said to The Dodo, "I'm so happy." Never before have I witnessed him so joyful.
Their hearts were mend in that instant for both of them. Although it is unknown how the dog managed to survive for such a long time on the streets by himself, it's possible that he was also motivated by the prospect of one day finding his owner.
