Rescued Pregnant Stray Dog Can’t Stop Smiling After Surviving Hoarding Situation

When this pregnant stray dog was freed from a hoarding situation, she couldn't stop grinning.

Some dogs go experience a lot of misery throughout their lives as a result of human mistreatment. However, there are others in the world who are eager to give these dogs another chance and the affection they so richly deserve.

That is the tale of one dog who endured a great deal while never losing her smile and is now able to actually smile.

The story of a dog named "Smile," who is so called because she always has a smile on her face, was told last month by No Dog Left Behind, a Minnesota dog rescue.

Smile appears content, but she has actually through a lot of difficult times. In Tijuana, Mexico, she was rescued from a hoarding situation. 23 dogs and 21 cats in appalling conditions were found during the rescue.

No more dogs Behind claimed that despite the homeowner's best efforts, she eventually gave in to her circumstances and the dogs started to breed and spread disease. Many of them were expecting, and the majority of them had sarcoptic mange, a painful and very contagious skin condition.

Smile was in very good shape, but she was in agony from some mange. She also had diseases brought on by ticks. She was also discovered to be pregnant, but the abuse and anxiety caused her to miscarry. The rescuers said, "It tears our hearts for her.

Smile was given medical attention by No Dog Left Behind when they realized they were giving her the second opportunity she so richly deserved. "The hope we saw in her eyes made us fall in love. They said on Facebook that Smile "was supposed to join our rescue team."

Smile never lost her enormous contagious grin and was now on the path to a better life despite the difficulty and misery. "Smile is so tremendously thankful and trusting, despite the agony and discomfort. She is aware that things will be better from this point on," they said.

The rescue team members were very taken with Smile, notably Stephanie Easley, operations manager for NDLB, who says that Smile "captured [her] heart."

Stephanie volunteered to foster Smile when she was released from quarantine following treatment for her skin condition. She claimed that Smile is even more delighted in her new foster home after having such a wonderful experience.

Stephanie told The Dodo, "The second I open my eyes, she's already looking at me and, of course, smiling." "What makes her the most remarkable dog I've ever met is the pure affection in her eyes. They are expressive; just by glancing at them, you can tell exactly what she is thinking or feeling.

Although Stephanie feels her home isn't exactly the ideal "forever home" for Smile, their foster status is just temporary. But she is confident that this great puppy will find the ideal home someday.

According to her statement to The Dodo, "My hope is that she'll receive a family that's as crazy about her as I am, [one] that makes her smile and look at them with all the love in her eyes."

After everything she has gone through, we are very happy to see how well Smile is doing, and we hope she soon finds a forever home. Her grin is just stunning!

Please tell others about this touching tale!
